Delhi Pollution Control Committee vide notification F.NO. DPCC/IT Cell/79/2020/2304-14 has directed that the renewal of authorization under E-Waste Management Rules, 2016 will be auto renewed after self-certification, undertaking and authorization fee to facilitate the refurbisher and dismantler of E-waste units in the process of Ease of Doing Business. The validity of the authorization granted under the above said rules will also now be increased from 5 years to 10 years. The notification further provides for the implementation of online annual returns under E-Waste Management Rules, 2016

Auto Renewal Of The Consent To Operate Green And Orange Category Industries In Delhi
Delhi Pollution Control Committee vide notification F.NO. DPCC/IT Cell/79/2020/2327-38 has introduced auto renewal of consent to operate for Green and Orange category units under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act,1974 and Air (Prevention and control of pollution) Act,1981. The auto renewal will be done after self-certification, undertaking and consent fee to facilitate the industries in the process of Ease of Doing Business. Extension Of Validity Period Of Consent To Operate Or Authorization In West Bengal
The West Bengal Pollution Control Board, vide notification No. 313-397/WPB/O&E/2020 has extended the validity period of consent to operate and consent to authorization till 30.06.2021 for health care establishments, bio medical waste management facilities municipal solid waste management facilities, health and hygiene care products, oxygen and oxygen cylinders, continuous process industries, production and packaging of milk, poultry fish and meat. The extension is granted to all such units, who have valid consent to operate up to 31st May and have applied to the State Board online or have submitted hard copy of renewal of consent to operate. Extension Of Validity Period Of Consent To Establish Or Operate In Punjab
Punjab Pollution Control Board vide notification no. 316 in the interest of public has extended the validity period of consent to establish/operate, authorization, registration and any other mandatory regulatory clearance which comes under the domain of the Punjab Pollution Control Board and having expiry on or after 31st March 2021, for a period of six months till 30th September 2021.
