The Government of Haryana vide Notification no.I.R-02/2019/28489-590 has released the variable dearness allowance towards Minimum Wages effective from 1st July 2019. The minimum wages rates towards Security Inspector/Security Officer/Security Supervisor and Safai Karamchari in any Employment has been removed from the minimum wage notification; with reference to judgement by the Honourable Supreme court of India (Civil Appeal No. 2539 of 2010) and Honourable High Court of Haryana (CWP No. 25328 of 2015) respectively
Government of Tripura vide notification no No.F.21(98)-LAB/ENF/Labour Laws/2017/7062 has released the Tripura Ease of Compliance To Maintain Registers Under Various Labour Laws Rules,2019. As per the notification and the new rule, various registers to be maintained under the provisions of the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970, The Interstate Migrant Workman (Regulation of Employment & Conditions of Service) Act, 1979, The Minimum Wages Act, 1948 , Building and Other Constructions Workers’ (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996 have been combined under Forms A,B,C,D respectively. These registers can also be maintained electronically provided that layout and presentation of the register may be adjusted without changing the integrity, serial number and- contents of the columns of the register. Government of India in consultation with Employees' State Insurance Corporation vide notification no G.S.R. 638(E) has amended rule 52 of Employees' State Insurance (Central) Rules, 1950. As per the Notification No.P3.Pdl.1/2019/DES, the Consumer Price Index (Cost of Living Index) Numbers applicable to employees in employment under the Minimum Wages Act (Central Act XI of 1948) for the month of June 2019 are as ascertained by the Director General of Economics & Statistics under clause (C) of Section 2 of the Act
Government of Puducherry vide notification no G.O. Ms. No. 07/2019/Lab has amended the puducherry factories rules by introducing online system for approval of site, construction or extension of a factory, registration, renewal and amendment of license through the web portal of the Chief Inspectorate of Factories and Boilers, Puducherry. The amendment also allows maintenance of returns in electronic form through the on-line portal of the Chief Inspectorate of Factories and Boiler or personally delivered to the Office of the Chief Inspectorate of Factories and Boilers. The amendment further states that all the books, registers and records required to be maintained under the said rules, stipulated under the Factories Act, 1948 shall at the discretion of the occupier/manager may be maintained in electronic form
