Government Of Uttarakhand Vide notification no 309/VIII/19-228(Labour)/2001-Part-II has revised the basic rates of wage for shops and establishment in the state. This notification revises the basic rates currently existing and a new dearness allowance notification may be released which would be calculated to arrive at the final Minimum rates of wages effective April 2019 in the state of Uttarakhand
Government of Haryana vide notification No. Leg.18/2019 has amended sub-section (1) of section 9A of the Punjab Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1965. As per the amendment, each employee shall contribute to the Fund every month an amount equal to zero point two percent of his salary or wages or any remuneration subject to a limit of rupees twenty-five and each employer in respect of each such employee shall contribute to the Fund every month, twice the amount contributed by such employee. Provided that the limit specified above shall be indexed annually to the consumer price index beginning from first of January each year
Government Of Madhya Pradesh vide notification no No.F 28-01/2019/A-16 has amended the Madhya Pradesh Shops And Establishment Rules 1959; as per the amendment the registration certificate granted under the provisions of the Act and Rule shall remain valid till the date of closure notified by employer. The employers who have obtained registration before 15th February 2014 shall compulsorily obtain registration after amendment of these rules. Further, Rule 6 also substituted the word "Registration" in the provision for the words "Registration or renewal"
