The bulk users of DG sets like the telecom companies shall comply with the Hazardous and Others Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 and subsequently ensure that hazardous and other waste generated by them including spent oil and used batteries shall be given to authorised actual users, waste collector or operator of disposal facility in accordance with the central pollution board guidelines. Annual reports and manifest in prescribed format shall be submitted to the board as per the governing rules, refer attachment for further details.
