Notification on Revised Standards for Telecommunication Equipment under the Telecommunications Act, 2023

The Ministry of Communications has notified revised standards for telecommunication equipment, effective from 15 October 2026. The revised standards cover fraud management and control centres (FMCC), monitoring equipment for lawful interception of PSTN/NGN/IMS networks, and metal-free optical fibre cables with nylon outer sheaths for underground duct applications.
