Now therefore, in view of the above and in exercise of the powers conferred under section 31(A) of the Air ( Prevention and Control Pollution) Act, 1981  read with Rule 20(A) of the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) ( Union Territories) Rules, 1983 and Keeping in view to curb high air pollution in Delhi, DPCC herby bans the operation of Electiricity Generator sets of all capacities, run on Diesel/Petrol? Kerosone in NCT Delhi, with effect from 15th October 2020 till further orders, excluding Electricity Generator sets used for essentials /emergency services etc.,
