Previously, the CPCB categorized "Digital Printing on flex/vinyl, PVC etc. (more than 5 machines)" as 'Green'. KSPCB's new circular refines this: Digital printing units that do not generate any wastewater should apply for 'Green' consent if they have more than 5 machines. Units with 5 machines or fewer that do not generate wastewater do not need KSPCB consent. Furthermore, KSPCB has modified the sector name to "Digital Printing in banners of approved material (more than 5 machines)." Please refer to the circular for more details.
