In pursuance of sub-rules (3), (4) and (5) of rule 31 of the Maharashtra Minor Mineral Extraction (Development and Regulation) Rules, 2013, the Government of Maharashtra hereby authorises the following persons for the purposes of sub-rules (3), (4) and (5) of the said rule 31, namely: If the District Mining Officer in a District is a Senior Geologist or Geologist (Class-I), then such District Mining Officer for that District. The Deputy Director, Regional Office, Directorate of Geology and Mining, for the remaining Districts.
