The Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats and Industrial Townships (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 2020.   1. (1) This Ordinance may be called the Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats and Industrial Townships (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 2020. 2. In section 2 of the Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats and Industrial Townships Act, 1965 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Act”), in clause (7), in sub-clause (ii), after the words “to get elected as” the words, figures and letters “a President of the Council in accordance with section 51A-1B under section 51 or” shall be inserted. 3. After section 51A-1A of the principal Act, the following section shall be inserted, namely :—
