The new policy dictates that all applications for a "Consent to Establish" (CTE) for these units will only be approved if they are located within a designated industrial zone or area. This means that the previous condition, which allowed units to be set up in non-industrial areas if the plot was larger than 15,000 square meters, is no longer valid. The order came into effect immediately. Any new CTE applications received after the order's issuance will not be considered if the proposed plot is not in a designated industrial zone.
