PESO approvals for most Ex Electrical Apparatus/Assembled equipment covered under IS/IEC standards, IECEx Certification, other international standards, and ATEX certification (from EU manufacturers) are now deemed valid. Manufacturers in the excluded categories must obtain fresh approval according to the revised guidelines (SOP) issued by PESO upon the expiry of their validity.
