NOTIFICATION OF ADDENDUM TO THE SOP FOR PROCESSING CTE/CTO APPLICATION FOR ETHANOL PRODUCING INDUSTRIES (DATED -13.09.2021)

As per the clause no.1 pertaining to mandatory documents and information that has to be submitted by the applicant for Obtaining CTE the applicability of the Environmental clearance is in accordance with the EIA notification, 2006 and its subsequent amendments, dated 16.06.2021. The applicant shall have to submit a self-attested Declaration stating that copy of the EC shall be submitted with in a period of 180 days along with all necessary documents and information as per SOP for Ethanol Producing with all necessary documents and information as per SOP for Ethanol Producing industries. Provisional CTE shall be accorded for the ethanol project with following condition: “The project proponent of the proposed Ethanol Industry has to mandatorily submit a copy of the EC granted in accordance with EIA notification 2006 to the PCB within a period of 180 days from the date of issue of the Provisional CTE by the board". Moreover the validity of the Provisional CTE shall be 180 days only and subsequently final CTE shall be granted on submission of Valid EC accorded to project. In case of failure to submit copy of the EC within the stipulated time frame, provisional CTE accorded to the proponent shall be automatically stand cancelled. In respect of clause no.3 pertaining CTE certain conditions are there to be considered and refer the notification.
