1. Short title and commencement.— (1) This Act may be called the Goa Municipalities (Amendment) Act, 2021. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. Amendment of section 2.— In section 2 of the Goa Municipalities Act, 1968 (Act 7 of 1969) (hereinafter referred to as the “principal Act”), clause (55a) shall be re-numbered as clause (55b) and before clause (55b) as renumbered, the following clause shall be inserted, namely;- ..........
