1. Short Title, Commencement and Extent 1.1 These Regulations shall be called the Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission for the State of Goa and Union Territories (Transmission and Distribution Licensing) Regulations, 2020. 1.2 These Regulations shall come into force from the date of their publication in official Gazette. 1.3 These Regulations shall apply to licensees for transmission and distribution of electricity. 1.4 These Regulations extend to the State of Goa and the Union Territories of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, Lakshadweep and Puducherry.   ..........
