The following clarification is provided with respect to the guidelines for hot mix plants cited above and shall be adhered to while processing consent applications. The guidelines under reference (1) shall not apply to temporary hot mix plants satisfying siting norms as per the referred circular. However, the elevation requirements in para 17, 18 and 19 of the said guidelines may be followed. In the case of permanent hot mix plants satisfying siting criteria and where complaints are existing, time frame may be given to implement t the measures suggested in the guidelines, while issuing Consent.
