The Reserve Bank of India vide circular no. RBI/2025-2026/71 A.P. (DIR Series) Circular No.08 has authorized Category-I AD banks to open Special Rupee Vostro Accounts (SRVAs) for overseas correspondent banks without prior approval. This circular shall come into force from 05th Aug 2025. Please refer the circular for more details.
