Notification on Reserve Bank of India (Investment in AIF) Directions, 2025
Updated on:29th Jul, 2025The Reserve Bank of India vide notification no. RBI/DOR/2025-26/138 sets new direction for investments. This direction limits the amount that banks and NBFCs can invest in Alternative Investment Funds. A single entity can only contribute up to 10 percent of an AIF scheme. This direction shall come into force from 01st January 2026. Please refer the notification for more details.
