The Reserve Bank of India vide notification no. RBI/2025-26/75 DOR.AML.REC.46/14.01.001/2025-26 amended Reserve Bank of India (Know Your Customer (KYC)) Directions, 2016 by making updates regarding onboarding, transaction, and authentication rules—improving accessibility for persons with disabilities, etc. This notification shall come into force from 14th August 2025.
