The Reserve Bank of India vide notification no .RBI/2025-26/84 amends the Reserve Bank of India (Lending Against Gold and Silver Collateral) Directions, 2025 to clarify restrictions on granting advances or loans for the purchase of gold or against primary gold/silver or financial assets, etc. This notification shall come into force from 01st October 2025.
