The Directorate General of Foreign Trade vide notification no.39 /2025-26 stated that requirement for a Certificate of Inspection from EIC/EIAs for Rice (Basmati and Non-Basmati) exports is limited to EU member states, the UK, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland. Exports to other European countries are exempt from this requirement for six months from the date of this notification. Please refer the notification for more details.
