The Government of India, vide Notification S.O.4498(E) implemented the provisions towards Chapter IV (Contribution), Chapter V (Benefits), and Chapter VI (Adjudication of Disputes and Claims) of the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948 (ESI Act), effective from 1st day of November 2023, in the Lalitpur, Kushinagar, Kaushambi, Budaun, Sultanpur,Deoria, Ballia, Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Baghpat, Chitrakoot, Sambhal and Ayodhya districts of Uttar Pradesh.
