The Ministry of Home Affairs Vide S.O. 2707(E), has directed the Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Ladakh to exercise the powers and discharge the functions of the appropriate Government under the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019 for formulating rules within Ladakh, subject to Presidential control and until further orders.
