The Government of Tamil Nadu vide notification no.SRO A-1/2021 has amended the Tamil Nadu Maternity Benefit Rules, 1967. As per the amendment, for every establishment having fifty or more employees, the employer should provide and maintain the facility of creche for the use of children of woman employees. There shall be one creche for every thirty children who are below the age of six years. Please refer to the notification for more details
