As per notification published by the West Bengal Labour Welfare Board dated 12th October 2018, the Board has exercised its powers under Section 9 (2) of the West Bengal Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1974 and has revised the rate of contribution for every six month with effect from 1st September, 2018. The previous rate of contribution is Employees Rs 3 per head per half year and Employer Rs 6 per head per half year. The revised rate has been notified for Employees at Rs 3 per head per half year and for Employers at Rs 15 per head per half year
