Disposal Of Hazardous Waste For Units Not Requiring Consent Under State PCB In Odisha
Odisha State Pollution Control Board vide notification no. IND-IV-HW-MISC-332/8873 has directed that an occupier shall not be required to obtain an authorization under Rule 6(1) of Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules 2016. The notification further provides that the hazardous and other waste generated by the occupiers shall be given to the actual users, waste collector or operator of the disposal facility in accordance with CPCB guidelines.
