The Ministry of Labour and Employment Vide S.O. 2699(E), has authorised EPFO officers (CPFC, Addl. CPFC, RPFC, Asst. PFC, and Enforcement Officers) to levy on and recover damages from employers under Chapter III of the Code on Social Security, 2020, superseding S.O. 4921(E) dated October 29, 2025.
