Mandatory Submission Of Mobile Number And Bank Account Details For Registration Under ESIC
ESIC vide circular No: F.No. I-11/13/04/2020-ICT has mandated the submission of mobile number and bank account details (Bank name, Branch name, and IFSC) with effect from 1st July 2020 for registration of employees under ESIC. As per the circular Employers are required to update mobile numbers and bank account details of existing employees registered under the ESI Scheme as well and Cash benefits/Claim reimbursements will be settled only if the correct bank account details of the beneficiary are available in the system. The manuals pertaining to the changes will be available soon on the ESIC website. Hence with these changes, ESIC is ensuring that the insured persons receive benefits such as hospitalization, monetary benefits as applicable seamlessly without any hassle. Extension Of Validity Period Of Consent, Authorization For Operation In Assam
Assam Pollution Control Board vide Notification no.WB/G-1530/18-19/95 has extended the validity period of consent/authorization set to be expired on 31st March 2020 to 31st July 2020. The notification comes into effect from the date of issue. Please refer the notification for details

Further Extension Of Validity Period Of Consent To Operate In Jharkhand
The Jharkhand Pollution Control Board, vide Notification No. B-49 has directed that due to Un-lock 1 being extended by the Government till 31st of July 2020, the inspection of the sites is not possible. Thus JPCB has extended the validity Of Consent to Operate to 31st July 2020, which were previously set to expire on 31st March 2020, 30th April 2020, 31st May 2020, and 30th June 2020. The Industrial Disputes (Goa Amendment) Ordinance, 2020
Governor of Goa vide notification 8/3/2020-LA dated 26th June 2020 has promulgated The Industrial Disputes (Goa Amendment) Ordinance, 2020 amending The Industrial Disputes Act, 1947. As per the ordinance the time limit for submission of the application to labor court or Tribunal, in case of dismissal of an individual workman which may be deemed to be an industrial dispute, has been reduced from three years to one year from the date of dismissal, retrenchment, discharge or termination of service as per provisions of the Act. Medical Benefit To Migrant Workers Covered Under ESI Scheme
ESIC vide notification No V-15/V/1/2006-Medical I (MS) has notified that in the wake of COVID-19 spread in the country and the subsequent nationwide lockdown imposed, insured persons covered under ESI scheme are facing difficulty in availing medical benefit while they have migrated from their workplace city/town to their native state. In order to mitigate these difficulties, ESIC has informed that the competent authority has approved such migrant workers across the country with valid ESI medical benefit entitlement may seek medical care services from ESI hospitals nearest to their home town, in case of emergency. Hence, the eligible ESI beneficiaries may avail of this facility from their nearest ESI hospital. Please refer notification for more details

The Jammu and Kashmir Pollution Control Board, vide public notice have released specific procedures/guidelines regarding handling, collection, transportation, and disposal of biomedical waste generated from COVID-19 affected persons. All the Health Care Facilities and Common Bio-Medical Waste Treatment Facilities are requested by the Board to follow the procedures/guidelines.

CPCB Guidelines For Handling, Treatment, And Disposal Of Waste Generated During COVID-19
Central Pollution Control Board vide notification, has released new guidelines for handling, treatment, and disposal of waste generated during treatment, diagnosis, or quarantine of COVID-19 patients. This revision is in the suppression of the earlier guidelines uploaded at the CPCB website. The guidelines mention about Sample Collection Centers and Laboratories for COVID-19 suspected patients, Responsibilities of persons operating Quarantine Camps/Homes or Home-Care facilities, Duties of Common Biomedical Waste Treatment Facility, Duties of SPCBs/PCCs, Duties of Urban Local Bodies and Management of wastewater from HCFs/Isolation Wards. Levying Of Environmental Compensation Charges Against HCFs In Andhra Pradesh
Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board vide notification No. 18/APPCB/BMW/NGT.O.A.710-713/2020 has directed all the Regional Officers to inform all the Health Care Establishments(HCFs) and Common Bio-Medical Waste Treatment and Disposal Facilities(CBMWTFs) about the Guidelines issued by CPCB on Management of Healthcare waste as per BMWM Rules, 2016 and on the provisions to levy of Environmental charges against them.
