ESIC vide circular no P-11/14/11/ABVKY/2019-Bft II has issued a clarification regarding payment of claims under ABVKY in cases where employers show "0" contribution for employees for some time after termination of their service and removal from the system at a later stage. In cases where the employee had indeed become unemployed in the month where "0" contribution has been filed shall also be allowed after due verification. However, it should be ensured that only beneficiaries who have been exited from the rolls of an employer, even at a later stage, are considered for payments under ABVKY subject to fulfillment of other eligibility conditions. Therefore, Employers are advised to exit those employees whose services have been terminated by them from their rolls/system immediately so that the payment of relief under ABVKY be made to such eligible claimants. Relaxation Of Procedure For Filing Claim For Relief Under Atal Beemit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana
ESIC vide notification No. N-12/13/01/2019-P&D. has notified relaxation of the condition of submitting a claim for relief under the Atal Beemit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana scheme. As per the amendment claims through affidavit forms are no longer required under Atal Beemit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana (ABVKY) of the Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC). Guidelines For Implementation Of Aatmanirbhar Bharat Rozgar Yojana In EPFO Registered Establishment
The Central Government has launched Aatmanirbhar Bharat Rozgar Yojana (ABRY) scheme to incentivize the creation of new employment opportunities during COVID-19 recovery phase by assisting the employers of establishments registered with EPFO to recruit unemployed person including re-employment of those who have been rendered un-employed during Pandemic. EPFO vide notification No.CAIU/011(16)2020-21/ABRY/1178 hereby directed to introduce the scheme guidelines approved by Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt. of India which provides upfront credit of both employees' share (12% of wages) and employers share (12% of wages) depending on the employment strength of the establishment, directly to the Universal Account Number of eligible employee maintained by the EPFO. The scheme would be effective from 1st October 2020 and shall remain open for registration of eligible employers and new employees up to 30th June 2021. The benefit shall be available for a period of twenty-four months from the date of registration of new employee, not later than 30th June 2023 in any case. Bihar PCB Introduces Auto-Renewal For CTE And CTO
Bihar Pollution Control Board vide notification no. 12 has introduced an auto-renewal system for Consent to Operate (CTO) and Consent To Establish (CTE) under the Air (Prevention and control of pollution) Act,1981 and Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act 1971. Now, to making the process easier for the entrepreneurs in the state from 1st January 2021, 30 days prior to the expiry of the Consent an option for renewal is granted and as soon as the paid online application is given, the order of consent will be obtained via QR Code (automatically) for operation with the extension of duration. Fee Structure Under Biomedical Waste Management Rules 2016 In Odisha
Odisha Pollution Control Board vide Notification no.13112/IND-IV-BW-55(PI) has prescribed the fees for consideration of authorization of units handling biomedical waste in Odisha. The notification extends to health care establishments both bedded and non-bedded, biomedical waste management agencies, research institutions, Veterinary hospitals, Govt Not for profit bedded, non-bedded institutions, etc. The fees prescribed are to be paid one time only and shall be deposited online along with the application form in one go.
