Unified Annual Returns Under Payment Of Bonus Act, 1965
As per Gazette notification no.GSR 58 (E), Central Government has notified that every employer shall, on or before the 1st day of February in each year, upload unified annual return in Form D on the web portal of the Central Government in the Ministry of Labour and Employment giving information as to the particulars specified in respect of the preceding year. Maternity Benefit (Mines and Circus) Amendment Rules
Ministry of Labour and Employment vide notification no G.S.R. 57 (E), has made amendments to Rule 16 of Maternity Benefit (Mines and Circus) Rules, 1963 where Employers of every Mines and Circus shall online upload a unified annual return in Form X on the web portal of Central Government in the Ministry of Labour & Employment by providing information to the particulars as provided in respect of preceding year. During inspection the Employers are requested to produce to Inspector their accounts, books, register and other documents maintained in electronic form or otherwise and in any case if Employer of a Mine and Circus on whom this act applies sells, abandons or discontinues the working of the mine or circus then Employer within period of one month of the date of such sale or abandonment or four months of the date of such discontinuance shall upload a further unified return in Form X as mentioned in Sub-Rule 1 in respect of the period between the end of the preceding year and the date of the sale, abandonment or discontinuance

Amendment Of The Minimum Wages (Central) Rules,1950
Ministry of Labour and Employment vide notification no G.S.R.56 E, has made amendment to rule 21, for sub-rule (4A) where Employers on or before 1st day of February in each year shall upload online unified annual return in Form III on the web portal of the Central Government in the Ministry of Labour and Employment giving all information as to the particulars specified in respect of the preceding year. During inspection the Employers are required to produce to Inspector the documents like accounts, books, registers and other documents maintained in electronic form or otherwise

Amendment Of Industrial Disputes (Central) Amendment Rules, 2019
Ministry of Labour and Employment vide notification no G.S.R. 59 E, has made amendments to rule 56A of The Industrial Disputes (Central) Rules, 1957 where Employer shall on or before 1st day of February in each year shall upload online unified annual return in Form GI in the Web Portal of Central Government in the Ministry of Labour and Employment giving information as to the particulars specified in respect of the preceding year. EPFO Instructions Towards Blocked PMRPY Beneficiaries
As per notification No.CAIU/011(71)2016/PMRPY/Refund/16626, EPFO has given certain instructions to its regional offices towards the employers whose Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Protsahan Yojana (PMRPY) beneficiaries has been blocked. As per the instructions mentioned, employers are directed to verify and certify the genuineness of the beneficiaries for availing further benefits under PMRPY Scheme and submit the information to the respective EPFO offices. A notice is being issued to all such establishments with details towards the same for further action

Non-Refundable Advance To EPFO Member In Case Of Continuous Un-Employment
As per notification G.S.R. 1182(E), the Central Government has amended Employees’ Provident Funds Scheme, 1952 by adding new provision under Paragraph 68HH vide the Employees’ Provident Funds (Amendment) Scheme, 2018. As per this scheme, in a Factory or any Establishment, a member is allowed for a non-refundable advance upto seventy-five percent of the amount standing to his credit in the Fund. Provided that member has not been employed in any factory or other establishment for a continuous period of not less than one month immediately preceding the date on which he makes an application for such non-refundable advance

Once In Lifetime Cash Compensation Upto Ninety Days To ESIC Member During Period Of Unemployment
Under Section 19 of Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948 the Employees' State Insurance Corporation has introduced welfare measure for employees under Atal Bimit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana where Employee's in a factory or establishment as mentioned under Section 2(9) are allowed for cash compensation upto 90 days once in lifetime during period of unemployment, cash compensation can be claimed after three months in one or more time within period of unemployment subject to conditions., (1) Employee shall complete 2 Years of insurable amount and contributed not less that 78 days in each of four consecutive period of contribution before claim of relief, (2) The relief shall not be more than 25% of the average earning per day, (3) The uncertainty of unemployment shall not be result of any punishment for misconduct or superannuation or voluntary retirement, (4) The average earning per day shall be total amount of wages received in four consecutive contribution period divided by 730 days, (5) The identity shall be proved from ESIC data base having verified accordingly or with Aadhar Number, (6) The Insured person shall present claim in an affidavit through the form AB-1 and such form AB-1 shall be provided by Employee's last employer to Employee's allotted Branch Office, (7) The Scheme is effective from 01-07-2018 and payments shall be due for payments after three months. (8) The scheme is introduced on pilot basis for period of 2 years

Online Application, Registration, Amendment Of License Under Central CLRA And ISMW
As per notification published in the official gazette dated 4th September, 2018, the Government of India by powers conferred by Section 31 of the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970 and Section 31 of the Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1979 has directed that: (i) any application for registration or license may be submitted online on Shram Suvidha Portal of the Ministry of Labour and Employment (https://shramsuvidha.gov.in/registerAgency); (ii) Any fee or security deposit shall be made by e-payment. The certificate of registration or license may be granted online on the Shram Suvidha Portal
